This is Alex Christmas 2008 (can you tell I’m still trying to get caught up on his scrapbook? ha!). The journaling reads “Christmas 2008. You were very into pirates and science that year along with transformers, legos & Indiana Jones.” Since I’m still playing catch-up, you’ll have to put up with at least one more Christmas layout and a couple of Halloween layouts in the next week or so!
This layout was created using a sketch for a challenge on Sketches in Thyme.
Materials:
Bo Bunny Noel paper pack
gold foil doily
Bo Bunny chipboard dimensional stickers
Fancy Pants stamp
Sakura brush tip marker
Archival ink
Adhesive:
Glue Arts Glue Glider Pro PermaTac

This is Alex from Christmas 2006. He was so excited that he was finally old enough for a Bionicles figure. I was surprised that he was able to put it together by himself without any help from me! I created this layout based on a sketch for a challenge on Sketchy Thursdays. All the embellishments except the ribbon trim were fussy cut from printed cardstock and I used faux stitching on the outer border.
Materials:
Kraft paper (I do not remember the brand)
American Crafts white cardstock
Teresa Collins Noel cardstock
May Arts black pleated trim
Inkssentials white opaque pen
Adhesives:
Glue Arts Glue Glider Pro Perma Tac
American Crafts This to That foam dots
