Relax card for Bo Bunny May Card Challenge

There’s a fabulous sketch for May on the Bo Bunny blog. It’s perfect for any style of card making, so my first instinct was to create a mixed media card for it. After a little more thought though, I decided to create one using mostly paper so that I’d be using more BB product. 😀 For my card, I went with their Barefoot and Bliss collection from a couple of years ago. I love the bright cheery colors in this line. Everything used on my card is from this one collection! Here’s what I came up with:

For this month’s Class Kit at SKWAD (Scrapbook Kits with a Difference) I was sent some lovely Bo Bunny Forever Fall papers to work with along with a batch of fun coordinating embellies! So, with this kit, you will receive photos as examples of 2 layouts and a bonus tag (which can easily be converted into a card), all the materials to use, and step by step instructions on how to create the pages and tag. 3rd Birthday – Layout 2nd page for Pagemaps Challenge

I decided to create page that coordinates with the layout on my previous post. For the 2nd page of the layout, I used the current Pagemaps sketch, due midnight on Sunday, Feb 5, 2012 (MST). I used a lot of the same papers and materials to make the 2 pages more cohesive since they weren’t meant to be a 2 page spread (which I don’t tend to make anyway). I still wanted to show that the 2 pages go together for the same event. Since it goes with the previous layout, I did not add a title to this page and moved the journaling to work more for what I changed. Here’s my take on the sketch:

Eager – Layout for Creative Scrappers sketch #191

I loved working with the fun sketch #191 by Nicole Nowosad for Creative Scrappers. For my take on it, I stuck pretty close to the sketch. The journaling reads, “Eager to walk run and always the daredevil. You didn’t just cruise at 6 months, you ran as long as you had something to holdonto…even if it was the back of the couch as you darted across the cushions. 1/04/2011.” Here’s what I came up with:
