There’s a fabulous sketch for May on the Bo Bunny blog. It’s perfect for any style of card making, so my first instinct was to create a mixed media card for it. After a little more thought though, I decided to create one using mostly paper so that I’d be using more BB product. 😀 For my card, I went with their Barefoot and Bliss collection from a couple of years ago. I love the bright cheery colors in this line. Everything used on my card is from this one collection! Here’s what I came up with:

Sketches4All is having an End of Summer Sketch event filled with sketches and prizes. Last I checked, there were 11 layout, card and tag challenges posted! About a month ago or so I won some of Bo Bunny’s new Barefoot and Bliss papers and their layered chipboard embellies. We’ve never taken the kids to the beach and I don’t have a single beach photo. However on the day we gave Christian his first sponge bath at home, he happened to be wearing a little romper that said “Beach Bum” on it and the colors seemed fairly appropriate, so I decided to use the BB for this layout. There was even a page that reminded me of bubbles, so I fussy cut and punched out some of the circles.

This layout is an example for the Paper Secrets July Sketch challenge. I rotated the sketch to better suit what I had in mind and here’s what I came up with:

BB Barefoot and Bliss layered chipboard stickers
Pink Paislee alpha stickers

Then I used the scraps to create a card for my example for the PS July Card Sketch with a twist (the twist is that you must use a border punch). Here’s my take on the sketch:
