Look Dada! Layout – Let’s Capture These Sketches #92

This week at Let’s Capture These Sketches, we had another gorgeous sketch by Ness to work with. I loved working with it and felt that a photo strip would be perfect for the layout. I chose a strip with Larry holding Christian. He was so fascinated by their image on the screen that he kept pointing to it and saying excitedly, “Look, Dada”! ๐Ÿ˜€

Here’s my take on the sketch:

Materials:

American Crafts cardstock
My Mind’s Eye Stella & Rose Hattie papers
MME Stella & Rose Hattie frame
MME Stella & Rose Hattie brads
MME Stella & Rose Hattie charm
Little Yellow Bicycle doilies
Maya Road chipboard alphas
Folk Art Acrylic Paint

Adhesives:

Helmar Adhesive Runner
Helmar Acid Free Glue
Helmar Zapdots
Helmar Liquid Scrapdots

Do What? layout – Sketchy Thursdays challenge entry

Here’s Matthew up close and personal. ๐Ÿ˜€ These were taken when he was just 2 years old. This kiddo loves the camera (unlike Christian…I’m still trying to get shots of him where he isn’t staring at me like I’m an alien!).

I created this layout based on the 3.03 sketch provided on Sketchy Thursdays for their challenge. Everything you see, except the brown alphas and brown cardstock I used to mat the photos, is from Bo Bunny’s gorgeous Garbielle line. I love this beautiful, detailed line and enjoyed further challenging myself to use what seems at first to be a “girly” range on a boy page. This has been a goal of mine since 95% of my crafty goodies tend to be girly, but I have 4 boys and 1 girl! Here’s what I came up with:

Materials:

Bo Bunny Gabrielle 12×12 papers
American Crafts Brown cardstock
BB Gabrielle stickers
BB Pet Shop sticker alphas
BB Gabrielle “True Friend” cardstock stickers
BB Gabrielle brad
BB Gabrielle chipboard

Adhesives:

Glue Arts Glue Glider Pro PermaTac
