Fun and Games – Layout for My Creative Sketches

My Creative Sketches is having an amazing 3 month long contest with prizes each month and a huge prize at the end! Each month there’s a sketch. All you need to do to enter is create a layout based on the sketch then link it to their post using the appropriate inlinkz tool before the deadline. You are then entered for that month’s prizes. Then at the end of 3 months, create a single post that includes all 3 of those layouts and post to the correct inlinkz tool to be entered to win the grand prize…a 3 month subscription to their fabulous Limited Edition Kits!

The first sketch, featured a large circle element. Though I considered using a diecut, cutting my own circle or even using a paper doily, I decided to go with the gorgeous crocheted doily that Marivic sent me in my August prize kit from Berry71bleu. I thought it was perfect since it also reminded me of Christian’s softly woven blankets. 🙂 I adhered it using the incredibly easy to use, Helmar V2 adhesive spray. I also used most of the letter tiles and the cutie wood bingo piece that were included. Here’s what I came up with for the sketch:

Materials:

Graphic45 ABC Primer papers
Bazzill cardstock
Doily, letter tiles and game piece from Marivic/Berry71bleu August prize kit

Adhesives:

Helmar Quick Fix adhesive runner
Helmar 450 Quick Dry
Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots
Helmar Zap Dots
Helmar V2 spray
