Hi everyone! I’m up today on the Creative Embellishments Blog sharing an altered paper mache box. This is actually the second time I’ve altered one of these. The previous one also featured lots of CE goodies, but it was smaller than this version. For this piece, I started out by spraying it down with a Krylon spray called Make it Stone. Once that dried overnight I splattered it first with a lot of different shimmering sprays by Lindy’s Stamp Gang and acrylic paint. I altered all the CE chippies with Liquitex acrylic paint and Jacquard Lumiere paints. Here’s what I came up with:

Soar – Creative Embellishments and CSI Case 161 plus Stuck?! Sketches April 1st challenge

Several members of the Creative Embellishments team are on the CSI, Color Stories Inspiration ning sharing how we cracked case 161. 😀 For my take on this challenge, also used a sketch from Stuck?! Sketches.

Here’s what I came up with:

From the evidence column, I opted to include circles, a clock, wet mediums, and something that flies. From the testimony column, I went with journaling in a circular shape.

I’m up on the Creative Embellishments blog today sharing how I cracked the CSI Color Stories Inspiration Case File No 160. CE is one of the CSI sponsors this month! 😀 After taking a really long break from crafting, it was really fun to get my hands dirty and get a little grungy with this one. Sketch challenges have always been a fave of mine and I’m always especially challenged by color challenges, so this was a great way for me to get my feet wet again. 😀 I went with this pic of Larry and Alex at the best 2 years ago. Creative Embellishments and Scrap Around the World
