Genuine Beauty – dt layout for LCTS sketch #117

This week at Let’s Capture These Sketches, we got to work with JJ’s first sketch for the site and I had a lot of fun with it! I used Pink Paislee’s Vintage Vogue papers and let Madison pick out the bg paper she wanted. 😀 The pp, chipboard stickers, diecuts, spool tops are all from the Vintage Vogue collection. The only item I added was a few bits of twine from the Twinery. Here’s my example for the sketch:

This is the fantastic sketch JJ came up with for this week’s challenge (sketch #117):

Key to My Heart – Creative Scrappers/Tres Chic Unique

For my second layout using the Tres Chic Unique kit, I used the gorgeous sketch #185 from Creative Scrappers. I was really inspired by the embellishment clusters and placement and knew it was perfect for the photo I had in mind. Here’s what I came up with:

All pp’s on this layout are included in the TCU kit. The journaling spot, sticker and twine are also part of the Colorful Kit. Non-kit items are:

Maya Road snowflake transparencies
MME brads

Pink Paislee Vintage Vogue lace ribbon

Anything goes at The Paper Variety this week too, so I’ll be entering my layout for their challenge. 😀 TFL!
