Howdy Cowboy card – The Paper Variety sketch challenge entry

The Paper Variety has a great card sketch for this week’s challenge. This first card is my entry:

But while I was at it, I figured I might as well make a second card since I already had the trim and materials out. Here’s the one I made just for fun:

As you can see, I just used a mirror image of the sketch for the coordinating second card. 😀 TFL!

Crazy About Pirates – Sketches4all sketch challenge

This layout was created for a sketch challenge on sketches4all. This photo was taken after our huge family’s annual Christmas party. The older children had been given these large paper pirate hats and Madison and Matthew came home feeling left out. Alex tried sharing his hat with them, but it was too big, so I took out some computer paper, scissors, crayons and tape and made them their own version. It was good enough to make them happy! lol

Materials:

I have no idea who these papers are made by. If you have this information, please let me know so that I can update my post w/this info. Thank you!
American Crafts white cardstock
Webster’s Pages Storytellers Alphas
Pebbles Inc. Labels stickers
Ranger Distress Ink

Adhesives:

Glue Arts Glue Glider Pro PermaTac
Scotch Quick Dry Liquid
American Crafts This to That foam dots

Tools:

Making Memories circle punch
EK Success scalloped circle punch

Normally, I would include a link to the sketch I used, but they tend to delete challenge posts once the deadline has been reached, so I didn’t want a dead link here. However, for right now, if you click the link above to go to their site, it’s under the group tab, then click the post marked “get sketchy” then the title of the sketch post “First sketch february.” If you do not see that heading, then the post has been deleted, but you can still check out their new challenges! 😀 TFL!

Halloween Night – Pencillines Sketch Entry

This layout is based on a sketch from Pencillines. These photos are from Halloween 2009. She loved this costume and didn’t want to be anything else!)

Materials:

My Mind’s Eye The Spider’s Web papers
American Crafts black cardstock

Adhesives:

Glue Arts Glue Glider Pro PermaTac
Scotch Quick Dry Liquid
American Crafts This to That foam dots

Tools:

Fiskars border/edge punch
Martha Stewart border/edge punch

The DT challenge sketch is open until 2/28/2011. If you’d like to take a look at the sketch or create your own entry, CLICK HERE.
