Well, it’s a brand new month, so that means there’s a new challenge up at Creative Embellishments! 😀 This month, if you’d like to play along, you’ll be combining an inspiration image with a sketch. Use the image any way you’re inspired, whether it’s the colors, the snow, part of the imagery, etc. Here’s what I came up with for my example:

For my example of sketch #104 at Sketchabilities, I picked a photo that was taken of Matthew shortly after we got home after a haircut. He was tired and didn’t really want his picture taken at the moment, but I really thought he looked cute with his new cut, so I asked him to smile for one. He agreed to just 1…AFTER I’d taken this picture. lol I scrapped the photo of him grinning broadly a few weeks ago…this is actually a pic a took just seconds before that one. 😀

Wow! I cannot believe how fast this year is flying by! Seems like the school year just started for my kids and now it’s already the end of November! For those of you in the US, Happy Thanksgiving! 😀 I’m up on the Creative Embellishments blog today with a layout to share using their FABULOUS laser cut chipboard title piece, along with their wood and chipboard feathers.
