4 Sassy Lil’ Cards

A while back, I found this awesome site with some really fun card sketches. It’s called Sassy Lil’ Cards and it’s been sitting in my faves complete unused. Until now. It’s taken a while to get to this point, but I’m actually starting to really enjoy making cards! I remember when I posted my first few card creations, I felt the need to preface it with…”sorry, I’m still learning”! Though I’m still not where I’d like to be, I’m no longer embarrassed to show my latest pieces. 😀 I think it helps a lot when you get to work with such wonderful sketches. They’re great for beginners beceause they give you a jumping off point and they’re great for seasoned card makers since they mix things up a bit. I love the versatility of sketches!

Sassy Lil’ Cards has such a wonderful variety of sketches and since I actually found that I had a block of time last night, I decided to go ahead and create using their four most recent sketches…the ones that are due tonight before midnight. Here’s what I came up with for their May 7th sketch:

As you can see, I rotated it for my take on the challenge for this Welcome to the Neighborhood/New Home card.

Thank you. 😀 Not embarrassed so much now…when I first started making cards, I was a bit embarrassed with my creations, but I’m feeling a lot more confident now. 😀
