Spring is in the Air
Sketches4All is hosting a fun-filled, week long event from May 11, 2011 through May 18, 2011! There will be at least one challenge posted each day of the event (two on certain dates) and there will be some fabulous RAKs offered by the DT. Be sure to check out the Special Events section of the forum to see what new challenge has been posted each day! Please note, you will need to register to the site in order to post comments or participate in the challenges.
To kick things off right, the entire DT is participating in a Blog Hop tomorrow, May 11, 2011. We’ll be starting on Stacy’s blog, heading over to Fia’s blog, through each of the DT’s blogs, then looping back to Fia’s. Along the way, keep your eyes open for 5 special words (it’s a scavenger hunt!). Only 5 of the stops feature a scrappy supply word for you to collect. Once you have your list of 5 words, you can do one of two things. Option one…you can use those items to create a NEW layout based on the sketch that will be featured on the hop and post it to this thread. Completing this layout using all 5 of the supplies on your list and posting to the appropriate thread on Sketches4All will enter to you for a chance to win this fabulous grand prize:

option 2…you can opt to skip the layout and simply email your list of 5 words to this email addy: scrapmiep2@hotmail.com to be entered to win a second chance prize, which is a $10 e-gift certificate to ScrappyJo’s. If you do decide to create the layout for the hop challenge, you can also email your list to the addy above to be entered into the second chance drawing.

Sounds like the hop is going to be fun. Unfortunately, I am down to the wire with the finishing touches on several open ended projects, so I won’t be able to join :O(.
On a positive note, THE VIDEO IS UPLOADED! It took several tries and posting to YouTube before putting it on my blog, but it is there. Now I can start using my scrappy goodies from ya! Have fun at the hop!

Very cool! Thank you! 😀 Will check it out in a min. Though the grand prize for the hop is if you do the sketch, there’s a second chance prize just for visiting the blogs and collecting the 5 supply words. Also, there will be challenges w/prizes posted daily on the site during the Spring is in the Air event. You might find a quick challenge that interests you too! 😀
